Abstract

The invention provides a monitoring method and system of link calling in a distributed system. The monitoring method comprises the following steps: collecting a distributed request sent by a user according to a preset sampling rule; generating link identifiers, and marking nodes in a calling link of the distributed request by using the link identifiers; generating node identifiers, and marking thehierarchical relationships of the nodes in the calling link by using the node identifiers; and obtaining monitoring information according to the marked link identifiers of the nodes and the node identifiers. By adoption of the method and system provided by the invention, full-link data are presented, the conditions of request links and network conditions can be observed in real time through the monitoring information, and a flexible and controllable sampling strategy is adopted, thereby not only satisfying general distributed systems, but also being suitable for highly concurrent distributedsystems.
