[0086] An iterative minimum precoding method in millimeter wave communication. In traditional MIMO systems, precoding is usually processed digitally at the baseband, which enables the amplitude and phase of the signal to be controlled. However, full digital precoding requires dedicated baseband and radio frequency (RF) chains comparable to antenna elements. Considering cost and power consumption, a hybrid precoding scheme of digital precoding and analog precoding is u...

Abstract

The invention discloses a precoding method based on an iteration minimum in millimeter wave communication. A channel is decomposed through using a DFT decomposition mode so as to construct optimal mixed precoding. A mixed precoding design is converted into a matrix decomposition problem. An orthogonal constraint is performed on digital precoding. According to an orthogonal characteristic of the digital precoding, a phase simulating precoding is extracted. Through multiple iterations, a final mixed precoding scheme is formed. Compared with other precoding modes, by using the method of the invention, the frequency spectrum efficiency of a system can be increased and the complexity of a precoding technology is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a millimeter-wave massive MIMO hybrid precoding method capable of improving spectral efficiency and reducing the complexity of hybrid precoding, and belongs to the technical field of wireless communication. Background technique [0002] The capacity of wireless networks increases exponentially with the access of high data rate multimedia. Spectrum efficiency can be improved by utilizing physical layer technologies such as massive MIMO, channel coding, and network densification as these technologies by themselves may not be sufficient to meet future business needs. Therefore, using underutilized spectrum bands to increase spectrum for commercial wireless systems is a solution to increase network capacity. [0003] Initially, the main obstacle to the success of mmWave cellular systems was the enormous path loss and rain attenuation due to the tenfold increase in carrier frequency. Thanks to the smaller wavelength of mmWAVE signa...
