A preparation technology of the bead comprises the steps of mixed extrusion, pelleting, primary foaming, secondary foaming and screening. According to the flame retardant and low heat conduction foaming polypropylene bead and the preparation technology of the bead, the foaming polypropylene bead is subjected flame retardant modification; and the quantity and sizes of foaming holes of the bead are adjusted, so that the bead has alow coefficient of heat conductivity and excellent flame retardancy.
