Determination of fertilization application amount of the high-yield cotton comprises the steps that the fertilization application amount of the cotton is mainly based on soil fertility, climate, yield level and nutrient demand of cotton growth and development, and the reasonable fertilization application amount and the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are scientifically determined to achieve the purpose of high yieldand high efficiency of the cotton. Reasonable application of a base fertilizer in high-yield cotton fields comprises the steps that the base fertilizer is also called a bottom fertilizer which is a fertilizer buried in soil by combining with soil tillage before seeding to ensure the yield of 150 kg of lint per mu, 1000-1500 kg of organic fertilizer or 100-10 kg of cake fertilizer must be applied to per mu of the cotton fields. 85-90% of chemical phosphate fertilizer, 70-80% of potassium fertilizer and25-40% of nitrogen fertilizer are used as the base fertilizer, and 1-2 kg of zinc fertilizer and 1-1.5 kg of boron fertilizer are applied per mu. Reasonable drip irrigation and topdressing in the high-yield cotton fields and foliar fertilization in the high-yield cotton fields are also included.
