The converter installation structure comprises a shell and a converter arranged in the shell, wherein the converter comprises a converter housing and an electric element arranged at one side of the converter housing; the converter partitions the internal part ofthe shell into a front chamber and a rear chamber; the electric element is located at one side of the rear chamber; an air inlet and an air outlet which communicate with the front chamber and the rear chamber separately are formed in the shell; and the front chamber communicates with the rear chamber through a wind guide channel at one side of the converter housing. Through the arrangement of theshell, when an exhaust device guides airflow to extract a gas in the shell from the air outlet, the gas enters the shell from the air inlet, flows through the front chamber, the wind guide channel and the rear chamber and is finally discharged from the air outlet, so that cooling airflow purges two sides of the converter housing of the converter in a relatively concentrated manner, and the cooling effect is good. The converter cooling system comprises an impeller and the converter installation structure.
