[0026] Both Junqianzi and Begonia fruits were collected at the teaching practice base of the School of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture of Henan University of Science and Technology - Guguzhai Base, Xinxiang County. On December 5, 2016, the fruits of Junqianzi and Begonia were picked, which were fully mature, free from diseases and insect pests, and could fully represent the characteristics of this variety. The collected fruits were piled up until the fruits were decomposed and softened, rubbed off the pulp, washed the seeds, dried naturally and stored in a low-temperature refrigerator (2-5°C) for more than 24 hours for later use. Qianzi and Begonia were treated with low-temperature sand stratification and low-temperature water stratification, respectively, and the low-temperature blank was placed as a control, and the progress of the stratification was not checked regularly.
