The method comprises the following steps that 1, an along-shore harbor basin internal water flow continuous equation and movement control equation are established; 2, an along-shore harbor basin sediment deposition calculation formula is established; 3, a tide value water tank, with the size of 30 km*20 km, of the along-shore harbor basin is built; 4, the influence of different length-width ratios of the harbor basin on the flow field is analyzed; 5, a change relation between the length-width ratio of the along-shore harbor basin and a water flow regression index n is established; 6, the water flow regression index n is established; 7,based on the second step and the sixth step, the thickness of sediment deposition of the along-shore harbor basin is calculated.
