The method is established based on the image pyramid model, the transmittance of an original image iscalculated through utilizing 15*15 and 1*1 filter templates, image processing advantages of the two types of filter templates are fully utilized to improve effectiveness of image processing, and theedge information is preserved; transmission image characteristics of the two types of different filters are taken into account, and the fusion weight of a pyramid underlying decomposition image decreases with the increase of the number of corresponding pyramid layers. The weight is exactly opposite of the trend of the pyramid, so an adaptive multi-scale transmission image fusion algorithm is utilized, that is, the fusion scale decreases as the number of corresponding image pyramid layers increases, and the advantages of the both filtering methods can be kept to the maximum degree. The method is advantaged in that the image vision effect can be effectively enhanced, and serious color distortion can be prevented on the condition that edge consistency is kept.
