Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a downlink synchronization method and apparatus. The downlink synchronization method includes steps: generating configuration information of a synchronous signal block, wherein the configuration information of the synchronous signal block comprises position indication information; and sending the configuration information of the synchronous signal block touser equipment, wherein the position indication information is used for indicating the position of the synchronous signal block in a synchronous signal array set. According to the method and apparatus, the UE can perform downlink synchronization more accurately by employing synchronous signals, and the utilization rate of frequency spectrum resources is effectively increased.
