Abstract

According to the vertical extension portion, a light beam emitted from an image source passes through a collimation system, thereafter irradiates the upper surface of a first coupling prism, enters the first coupling prism, and then is reflected by the inclined surface of the first coupling prism, and the reflected light beam enters a first holographic waveguide plate; and the light beam undergoes total reflection at the upper surface and lower surface of the first holographic waveguide grating, advances along the direction of the first holographic waveguide grating, and is emitted out from the vertical extension structure. The emitted light beam is coupled through a second coupling prism, the coupled light beam is inputted into the second holographic waveguide grating of the horizontal extension portion; and the light beam is emitted a plurality of times at the second holographic waveguide grating, and finally two-dimensional extension is realized.
