Abstract

A piston pin of the mechanism variable in combustion chamber volume is connected with a piston assembly and a cross head, and a connecting pin is connected with a small head of a connecting rod. The rotary center of an adjusting rocker arm is concentric with the axis of the piston pin, the adjusting rocker arm is peripherally fixed to a connecting pin, the rotary center of the adjusting rocker arm isnot concentric with the axis of the connecting pin. An adjusting valve is provided with at least four valve ports, and a pressure source is connected with the first valve port through a one-way valve. The mechanism variable in combustion chamber volume achieves that the combustion chamber volume of a low-speed machine is flexible and variable by controlling the adjusting valve. The mechanism is arranged on a reciprocating motion part, and the influence of vibration of the low-speed machine on the variable characteristic of the combustion chamber volume is reduced.
