Abstract

The invention discloses a device and a method for non-diagnostically determining functional equivalent uniform dose of an object. The device comprises a single photon emission computed tomography device, an X-ray computed tomography system, a treatment planning system, an image processing unit and an equivalent uniform dose computing unit. The single photon emission computed tomography device is used for providing a SPECT lung perfusion image of the object. The X-ray computed tomography system is used for providing a CT image of the object. The treatment planning system is used for providing an in-vivo dose distribution condition when the object is treated with radiotherapy. The image processing unit is used for deformation and fusion of the SPECT lung perfusion image and the CT image in order to form a fusion image. The equivalent uniform dose computing unit comprises function image parameters and carries out data processing operation onto parameters of the fusion image and dose distribution of the treatment planning system, thereby acquiring functional equivalent uniform dose of the object. The functional equivalent uniform dose computed by the device and the method enjoys highersensitivity and singularity in an aspect of radiation pneumonitis prediction.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of medical technology, and more particularly relates to a device and a method for non-therapeutic and non-diagnostic determination of the functional equivalent uniform dose of an object. Background technique [0002] Radiation therapy is an important method for treating chest tumors, but the incidences of radiation pneumonitis are 1-5%, 5-10%, and 5-50% in patients with breast cancer, chest tumors, and lung tumors after radiotherapy. The risk of radiation pneumonitis limits the increase in the clinical dose to the target area, thereby reducing the probability of radiotherapy controlling the tumor. Changes in pulmonary vascular permeability caused by high-dose irradiation are one of the causes of reflex pneumonia. [0003] The clinic has been looking for indicators that can accurately predict radiation pneumonitis, in order to formulate a reasonable treatment plan and evaluate the side effects of radiotherapy....
