Abstract

The invention discloses a formation method based on a hollow coil. The formation method comprises the following steps of: controlling a forming coil to discharge electricity; generating a forming magnetic field inside the forming coil so that an inductive loop composed of a to-be-formed sample part and a conducting block generates induction current under the effect of the forming magnetic field; making the to-be-formed sample part generate temperature rise under the effect of the induction current; and meanwhile forming the to-be-formed sample part by virtue of electromagnetic force under thecombined action of the induction current and the forming magnetic field. The forming coil is a hollow coil; and the to-be-formed sample part and the conducting block are positioned inside the formingcoil. According to the formation method disclosed by the invention, the to-be-formed sample part and a mold are placed inside the forming coil, the electromagnetic field acting on the to-be-formed sample part and the mold is much larger than that at the outer side of the forming coil, so the forming force applied to the to-be-formed sample part is greatly increased, and the formation efficiency isgreatly improved.
