Abstract

The present application discloses a high stability photoelectric oscillator, comprising an oscillation circuit composed of a laser, a modulation unit, a polarization unit, a first FP etalon, a secondFP etalon, a photoelectric conversion unit, an amplification unit, a filtering unit, and a coupling unit. A first polarized light signal and a second polarized light signal, which are decomposed fromthe modulated laser signal, respectively generate two optical signals having different peak wavelengths through the first FP etalon and the second FP etalon; the two optical signals having different peak wavelengths are combined and inputted to the amplification unit by outputting a microwave oscillating signal through the photoelectric conversion unit; and then two optical signals having different peak wavelengths are sent to the modulation unit through the filtering unit and the coupling unit. The invention further comprises a control method for adjusting the angle and position of the firstpolarized light, the first FP etalon, the second polarized light, and the second FP etalon to maximize the Q value of the microwave oscillating signal. The high stability photoelectric oscillator andthe control method of this invention can solve the problem that the stability of the microwave oscillation signal generated by the photoelectric oscillator is easily affected by the temperature and pressure changes, thereby realizing a microwave source with simple structure and high stability.
