The night vision system comprises a signal receiving module, a communication module,a coordinate receiving module and a software module, wherein the signal receiving module is used for receiving a first radio frequency signal transmitted from a UMTS base station and a second radio frequency signal returned from an observation area and outputting a first signal and a second signal after amplification, filtering and analog-to-digital conversion are performed; the communication module is used for transmitting the first signal and the second signal, which are output by the signal receiving module, to the software module; the coordinate receiving module is used for acquiring real-time coordinates of the night vision system and transmitting to the software module; and the software module comprises first to seventh sub modules and is used for performing a series of processing on the first signal and the second signal and performing two-dimensional time domain filtering processing by combining the real-time coordinates, acquired by the coordinate receiving module, of the night vision system and coordinates of the UMTS base station, thus an image of the observation area is acquired.
