Embodiment 1

[0038] see figure 1 , figure 1 It is a schematic flow chart of a perl-based method for verifying the validity of volume migration of an MCS provided in the embodiment of the present application. Depend on figure 1 As can be seen, the method in this embodiment mainly includes the following steps:

[0039] S1: The host side performs read and write operations on the volume set on the storage side.

[0040] In this application, the volume migration test is set during the normal reading and writing process of the volume on the host side, that is, the volume migration test is performed during the normal reading and writing process of the volume on the host side. The volume migration test is judged to be qualified only when the volume migration test is passed during the normal read and write process of the volume on the host side. This test method is closer to the actual volume migration scenario and is conducive to improving the reliability of the volume migration test results. ...

Embodiment 2

[0082] exist figure 1 On the basis of the illustrated embodiment see figure 2 , figure 2 It is a schematic structural diagram of a perl-based system for verifying the validity of MCS down-volume migration provided by the embodiment of the present application. Depend on figure 2 It can be seen that the system in this embodiment mainly includes three parts: a read-write module, a volume migration module and a judgment module. Among them, the read-write module is used to control the host to read and write the volume set on the storage side; the volume migration module is used to read and write the volume set on the storage side on the host side, according to the test parameters and the set volume migration sequence , perform volume migration between different iogrps on the storage side; the judging module is used to judge whether the volume migration test is qualified according to whether the data in the volume before and after the volume migration is consistent. Volume mi...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for verifying volume migration validity under an MCS (Multi Controller System) based on perl. The method comprises the steps that a host side carries out read / write operation on volumes set at a storage side; carrying out volume migration between different iogrps at the storage side according to test parameters and a set volume migration sequence; judging whether intra-volume data is consistent or not before and after the volumes are migrated; and judging that volume migration testing is qualified if the intra-volume data is consistent. Through application of the method and system provided by the invention, scripts can be written through utilization of a language and the volume migration validity under the MCS is automatically verified through operation of the scripts, so test time is greatly reduced, and test efficiency and accuracy of a test result can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of storage system performance testing, in particular to a perl-based method and system for verifying the effectiveness of volume migration under MCS. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of IT technology and the advent of the era of big data, people have higher and higher requirements for data storage and processing. MCS (Multi Controller System, multi-controller storage system) storage system came into being. MCS storage system is also called Unified storage system. It is a problem worthy of research to develop new functional modules on the same storage system and conduct high-efficiency testing. Verifying the effectiveness of MCS down-volume migration is an important part of these high-efficiency tests. [0003] Currently, the method for verifying the effectiveness of MCS down-volume migration is manual testing. Specifically, first determine the data of the volume to b...
