Abstract

The invention discloses a method for modifying polyester fibers, and belongs to the technical field of textile chemical engineering. The method includes the steps of pretreating the polyester fibers, preparing a polyethylene glycol grafted chitosan derivative and modifying the polyester fibers by the polyethylene glycol grafted chitosan. The method has the advantages that after the polyester fibers are modified by a sodium hydroxide solution to have roughened surfaces, thereby being beneficial for attaching the chitosan derivative and adding cyanuric acid to modify amidated chitosan in later period to obtain the cyanuric acid modified amidated chitosan; the modified chitosan is beneficial for grafting reaction with polyethylene glycol, has excellent flexibility and hydrophilic performance, and can be grafted and adsorbed to the polyester fibers to improve the hydrophilic and antistatic properties of polyester molecules; the hand feeling of polyester fiber fabric is improved to a certain extent, the polyester fiber fabric has a certain antibacterial property, the grafting is firm, and the water resistance is high, so that the polyester fiber fabric has higher economic benefit and agood industrial promotion prospect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of textile chemical industry, and in particular relates to a method for modifying polyester fibers. Background technique [0002] Polyester is the trade name of polyethylene terephthalate fiber, and it is one of the three main fibers in synthetic fibers. Because the polyester linear macromolecule is a symmetrical benzene ring structure, the linearity is good and the molecular chain structure is three-dimensional, which makes it have superior physical and mechanical properties such as high strength, good elasticity and rigidity, and is stable to weak acids and alkalis, and has excellent dimensions. Stability and good corrosion resistance, it is an ideal textile fiber. However, polyester is a typical hydrophobic fiber with only one hydroxyl group at each end of its molecule and no other hydrophilic groups. The molecular structure Closely arranged, high crystallinity, poor hygroscopicity. Under standard conditions (20°...
