A pressure test method and apparatus for a data flow system are disclosed. One embodiment of the method includes parsing a data stream to be processed to generate a stress test data stream in responseto receiving a stress test instruction; inputting the data stream to be processed and the stress test data stream from a data stream processing node as an entry to a data stream system; periodicallydetermining a delay time for processing data in the input data stream by the data stream system and, based on the determined delay time, determining whether a stress test is passed. This embodiment improves the flexibility of stress testing.
