Abstract

An improved method of honeycomb flexible rope truthfulness in virtual simulation is characterized in that the method comprises the steps of: 1) establishing a honeycomb particle of the flexible rope through a plurality of hexagonal columns surrounding the honeycomb particle-spring model; 2) based on the honeycomb particle-spring model, distributing the mass of flexible rope is distributed uniformly on the mass point, wherein the mass point is connected with the mass point by many kinds of springs. Different elastic coefficients and damping coefficients are set for different types of springs tosimulate the internal forces in different directions of the rope. A limit bending spring is added between the central mass points between each alternate mass point layer to limit the abnormal phenomenon of bending 180 degree between adjacent mass point layers, and the accuracy of the model and the simulation reality are improved.
