Abstract

The application relates to a method for estimating an angle of arrival in an MIMO system. The method includes the following steps: establishing a mathematical model of an antenna array; collecting angle of arrival estimation algorithms; presetting different channel parameters, and calculating an angle of arrival estimation value under the different channel parameters by using the mathematical model of the antenna array and using the different angle of arrival estimation algorithms; evaluating the angle of arrival estimation value, and screening out a final angle of arrival estimation algorithmunder each channel parameter; acquiring an actual transmission channel, and analyzing transmission channel parameters in the transmission channel; and selecting the final angle of arrival estimationalgorithm according to the transmission channel parameters, and performing angle of arrival estimation by using the mathematical model of the antenna array. According to the scheme of the application,the mathematical model of the antenna array is established, the most accurate algorithm is selected under the different channel parameters to estimate the angle of arrival, and thus the accuracy andresolution of the angle of arrival estimation can be improved.
