The invention discloses a fingerprint-positioning oriented base station deployment optimization method in a heterogeneous network environment. According to the method in the invention, the positioningerror of a base station deployment scheme is given by utilization of CRLB (Cramer-Rao Lower Bound); then, the best base station deployment scheme, which has the minimum average positioning error andsatisfies predetermined coverage requirements, is rapidly searched through a genetic algorithm; therefore, the positioning precision is increased; and in addition, the technical scheme provided in theinvention also considers that the positioning precision is increased through base station deployment optimization in the heterogeneous network environment and the base station existing in the environment.
