Problems solved by technology

Traditional radio frequency receiving antennas have defects such as low gain, narrow bandwidth, and low radiation efficiency, which limit their use in many applications
Especially at the receiving end of some communication systems, the antenna is required to have higher effective receiving energy in a narrower direction, and the traditional antenna is limited in this case

Abstract

The invention discloses a dual-polarized rectifying antenna based on a short-circuit needle structure. The dual-polarized rectifying antenna comprises a receiving antenna and a rectifying circuit, wherein the output end of the receiving antenna is electrically connected with the input end of the rectifying circuit; the receiving antenna is a microstrip antenna and includes a radiation patch, a substrate, a ground plane and a coaxial feed conductor pin; the radiation patch is disposed above the substrate; the ground plane is disposed on the bottom surface of the substrate; one end of the coaxial feed conductor pin is connected to the radiation patch; the other end of the coaxial feed conductor pin is connected to the ground plane through the substrate; the edge of the radiation patch is provided with a metal short-circuit needle; one end of the short-circuit needle is connected to the radiation patch; and the other end of the short-circuit needle is connected to the ground plane throughthe substrate. The dual-polarized rectifying antenna can maintain the high gain of a RF receiving antenna, the high output voltage of a rectifier and the multiple directions of receiving RF energy atlow input power.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates, in particular, to a dual-polarized rectenna based on a shorting pin structure. Background technique [0002] Microwave wireless power transmission (MPT: Microwave Power Transmission) has obvious advantages in terms of degrees of freedom, spatial degrees of freedom, and erection physical costs. The key part of the MPT system is the energy receiving system, which includes two parts: the RF receiving antenna (Receiving Antenna) and the RF rectifying circuit (Rectifying Circuit), so it is also called the rectifying antenna (Rectenna). The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the rectenna directly affects the performance of the entire energy transmission system and is an important index of the rectenna. Traditional radio frequency receiving antennas have defects such as low gain, narrow bandwidth, and low radiation efficiency, which limit their use in many applications. Especially at the receiving end of some communication s...
