Abstract

A battery module, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a plurality of battery cells which are stacked on top of each other; a cell housing for accommodating the plurality of battery cells; a top plate which covers the entire upper side of the cell housing and is electrically connected to the anodes or the cathodes of the plurality of battery cells; and a bottom plate which is arranged opposite the top plate, covers the entire lower side of the cell housing, and is electrically connected to the other electrode from among the anodes and the cathodes of the plurality of battery cells.
