The invention discloses a karst tunnel water inrush early-warning calculating model which comprises a data input layer for inputting the pressure intensity, detected by a pressure intensity collectingdevice, of karst water on a middle rock stratum, an even load calculating layer for calculating the even load of the karst water on the middle rock stratum, a stress calculating layer for simplifyingthe middle rock stratum into a simple supporting beam and calculating the tensile stress sigma t of the karst water on the middle rock stratum according to the structural mechanics and the even load,and a comparing layer for comparing the tensile stress sigma t generated by the middle rock stratum with the pre-measured allowable stress [sigma] of the middle rock stratum, showing that the middlerock stratum is in a safe state if sigma t is smaller than or equal to [sigma] and showing that the middle rock stratum is in an unsteady state and generating an early-warning signal if sigma t is larger than [sigma]. The invention further discloses a karst tunnel water inrush early-warning calculating method with the calculating model. The inrush early-warning is conducted by comprehensively considering the karst water pressure intensity and the tensile strength of the middle rock stratum, and accuracy can be improved.
