The invention provides a method for digitalizing road design data and assisting construction. The method comprises the following steps: (1) designing a road into a road data structure form; step (2),forming road data display based on a Qt graph technology; step (3), based on the definition of a road in engineering measurement, calculating the mutual conversion of an engineering coordinate and a road mileage offset; step (4), by means of definition of the vertical curve and the cross section in the road structure, elevation calculation of any point of a road and earthwork volume calculation ofroad construction are obtained, a road data structure is designed through engineering surveying knowledge, road display is achieved through the Qt graph technology based on the road data structure, and reading, rendering and storage of road data are achieved. And the engineering coordinates and the road mileage offset are mutually converted to realize calculation of the road filling and digging amount.
