Abstract

The invention discloses a method for culturing seedlings by using bletilla striata seeds. The method comprises the following steps: (1) spreading the bletilla striata seeds in water, maintaining the environment temperature at 20-25 DEG C, and carrying out illumination culturing until protocorms with leaflets are formed; (2) uniformly sowing the protocorms with the leaflets into a seedling culturecontainer laid with a clean culture medium, and then covering the seedling culture container with a soft and transparent plastic film; and (3) illuminating the protocorms which are sown in the seedling culture container under the light, maintaining the environment temperature at 20-25 DEG C, and carrying out illumination culturing until small pseudobulbs which can be planted is formed. The methodhas the beneficial effects that (1) the seeds germinate in water to form the protocorms, sterile operation and an artificial culture medium are not required, the method is simple and convenient to operate, and the seedling culture cost is reduced; (2) the evenness of grown-up seedlings is high; (3) the growing time of seedlings in the early stage is shortened, and loss caused by infringement of herbivorous pests is reduced; and (4) in a germination stage, an insecticide is not required, the method is environmentally friendly, and pesticide residues are avoided.
