Abstract

The invention discloses an indoor passive positioning system based on light field matching and a method thereof, and relates to an optical communication positioning technology. The system consists ofan illuminometer (10) and a smart phone (20), wherein the illuminometer (10) and the smart phone (20) are interconnected. The illuminometer (10) consists of a photometer (11) and a spectral filter (12), wherein the photometer (11) and the spectral filter (12) are interconnected. Data processing software (21) and positioning program software (22) are embedded in the smart phone (20). The system provided by the invention has the advantages that 1 a unique light field distribution map, namely a light field fingerprint database, corresponding to an indoor position is constructed; 2 a matched lightfield fingerprint is acquired, and the current position of a user is determined to realize positioning; and 3 a light source is free of any special modulation and modification, and the system adaptsto changes of the light field of the indoor position, and can be used for positioning in places with light.
