Embodiment 1

[0054] 1. Loading device

[0055] Such as figure 1 and 2 The charging device shown is a simulated charging device. Water and plastic balls are used to simulate molten salt and fuel balls respectively. Through the force analysis of the balls in the fluid, the device structure and experimental parameters are equivalent, which can completely simulate the shutdown. During the charging process, the diameter of the plastic ball is 3 cm, and the ratio of the density of the plastic ball to the density of water is 0.84.

[0056] The charging device includes a feed pipe 10 and a goal control mechanism 20;

[0057] The inner diameter of this feed pipe 10 is 4cm, and it comprises the first feed pipe 11 that vertically arranges, the second feed pipe 12 that horizontally arranges, connects this first feed pipe 11 and this second feed pipe 12 Transition pipe 13, the radius of curvature of the transition pipe 13 is 80cm, the end of the second feed pipe 12 away from the transition pipe 13 i...

Abstract

The invention discloses a material and an apparatus for loading fuel balls in a molten salt pebble-bed reactor. The apparatus used by the method comprises a material feeding pipe, wherein the inner diameter of the material feeding pipe is larger than dp and less than 2dp, dp is the diameter of a fuel ball, the material feeding pipe comprises a vertically-arranged first material feeding pipe, the first material feeding pipe is provided with a first ball inlet, and the bottom portion of the material feeding pipe is provided with a first ball outlet extending into the reactor core of a molten salt pebble-bed reactor. According to the method, the first ball outlet is arranged in the reactor core, the vertical distance L1 between the bottom portion of the first ball outlet to the molten salt liquid level in the reactor core meets a special limitation range, and fuel balls enter the material feeding pipe one by one through the first ball inlet, and then enter the reactor core through the first ball outlet. According to the present invention, the material loading method is suitable for the single-row material loading of the fuel balls in the molten salt cooling pebble-bed reactor, and hasthe simple operation; and the material loading apparatus has advantages of simple structure, high reliability and controllable loading rate, and is suitable for the single-row material loading of thefuel balls in the molten salt cooling pebble-bed reactor.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method and a device for charging fuel balls in a molten salt pellet bed pile. Background technique [0002] The molten salt pebble bed reactor is developed on the basis of the molten salt reactor of the fourth generation nuclear energy system. It adopts the spherical fuel element of the high temperature gas-cooled reactor, and has the characteristics of sustainability, economy, safety, reliability, and nuclear proliferation prevention. In a reactor, fuel spheres are randomly piled up in the core to form a pebble bed, and the flowing molten salt carries heat out of the core. At present, this reactor type is a key research project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' strategic leading science and technology project "Future Advanced Nuclear Fission Energy-Thorium-based Molten Salt Reactor Nuclear Energy System", and has great development prospects. [0003] Molten salt pebble bed reactor is a new concept reactor, and currently t...
