Abstract

The optoisolator comprises a surface plasmon wave (SPW) generator made of metal and a birefringence prism, wherein the SPW generator can generate SPWs under theaction of incident transverse electric waves (TEWs); the birefringence prism is used for refracting received first signal light, second signal light or third signal light and then emitting all the signal light into the SPW generator, wherein the first signal light and the second signal light are TEWs, the third signal light is a transverse magnetic wave (TMW), and the birefringence prism have different refraction angles on TEWs and TMWs with the same incident angle; the SPW generator can generate a first SPW under the action of the first signal light and can generate a second SPW under the action of the second signal light; and under the action of a magnetic field, wave vectors between the first SPW and the first signal light in the interface direction are different, wave vectors betweenthe second SPW and the second signal light in the interface direction are identical, and therefore the adverse influence of reverse light can be suppressed.
