[0083] Such as image 3 As shown in (C), the lumen 420 according to Modification 3 is formed of a belt-shaped member 430 . The lumen body 420 has an engaging portion 433 . The engaging portion 433 is constituted by a holding portion 435 that generates a frictional force between the side portions 431 a and 431 b of the belt-shaped member 430 . A holding portion that functions as a holding portion 435 is formed on the first side portion 431a. The holding part 435 clamps the second side part 431b while being in contact with the second side part 431b, thereby generating a frictional force between the first side part 431a and the second side part 431b. The second side portion 431b is movable in the long-axis direction via clearance portions ...

Abstract

There is provided a guide wire which is flexible in a distal portion and which can prevent occurrence of damage such as breakage and separation of a coil in the distal portion. A guide wire 100 has anelongated core member 110 and a tubular body 120 located so as to cover a periphery of a distal portion 111 of the core member. The tubular body is formed using a belt-shaped member 130 wound in a spiral shape, and has an engagement portion 133 which causes side portions 131a and 131b adjacent in a longitudinal axis direction of the core member to engage with each other in the belt-shaped member.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to guide wires. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, a guide wire is known as a medical device for introducing a catheter device into a lesion (stenosis, etc.) formed in a living body lumen (see, for example, Patent Document 1). [0003] For the guide wire, in order to improve the deliverability in the lumen of a living body, it is required to have flexibility (flexibility) at the tip portion of the guide wire. Therefore, in the guide wire described in Patent Document 1, the coil is arranged so as to surround the periphery of the distal end portion of the core member. In the guide wire, the flexibility of the guide wire tip is improved by arranging the coil at the tip of the guide wire. [0004] However, when a coil is arranged at the distal end portion of the guide wire, the following problems may occur. For example, the case where the front end of the guide wire is caught by the lesion (for example, completel...
