At the step of image processing, perspective transformation is carried out on a shot material image; according to a pixel size of the material image and a physical size of the support plate, a conversion relationship between the pixel and the actual size is calculated; the edge ofthe material is extracted by using image segmentation and a series of coordinate data of the edge of the material are obtained; and on the basis of material edge data and the calculated pixel conversion relationship, two-dimensional geometric information of the to-be-detected material is calculated. After perspective transformation, pixel conversion, image segmentation and shape index calculationon the image, material quality inspection can be completed systematically in details. In shooting, the shooting devices do not require fixation and support by a massive device.
