The communication method and the driver equipment are used for saving computing resources of the driver equipment in the TPC-E test. The method is applied to the driver equipment. The driver equipment is used for operating a Driver assembly. The Driver assembly comprises a TPC-E test platform, a Driver module and a Driver module. The TPC-E test platform further comprises a CEServer assembly and an MEEServer assembly, and the CEServer assembly is connected with the MEEServer assembly. The Driver component is used for controlling a TPC-E test, the CEServer component is used for simulating a client operation type transaction, the MEEServer is used for simulating a market operation type transaction, andthe method comprises the following steps: a driver device triggering a TPC-E test task corresponding to a target database; wherein the driver equipment is respectively arranged between the Driver component and the CEServer component and between the Driver component and the MEEserver component, and TCP communication is realized on the basis of a Web interface; when the CEServer component and the MEEServer component respectively initiate a simulation processing transaction to the target database, the driver equipment monitoring a processing result of processing the simulation processing transaction by the target database based on the Socket interface; and the driver equipment performing analysis according to the processing result to obtain a TPC-E test result of the target database.
