The method comprises: in a process in which a terminal device receives information sent by a network device through a first receiving beam, determining a first UE attitude of the terminal device, the terminal device comprising a plurality of receiving beams; under the condition that the terminal equipment changes from the firstUE attitude to the second UE attitude, the terminal equipment determines a second receiving beam according to the orientation relationship among the plurality of receiving beams and the orientation change condition of the terminal equipment changing from the first UE attitude to the second UE attitude; and the terminal equipment receives the information sent by the network equipment through the second receiving beam. Based on the scheme, when the posture of the terminal equipment changes, the proper receiving beam can be selected to receive the information sent by the network equipment, the transmission performance between the terminal equipment and the network equipment is ensured, the measurement frequency based on the reference signal can be reduced, the power is reduced, and the robustness of a link is improved.
