The invention relates to a cultivation method of bougainvillea spectabilis seedlings, which comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a cultivation and seedling growing selecting a sandy landwith fertile soil, and after deeply ploughing and finely harrowing, covering the sandy land with a layer of nutrient soil which is prepared from humus soil, decomposed animal manure, sawdust, river sand and garden soil; (2) raising seedling by cutting: cutting mature lignified branches with buds, inserting the branches into a seedling raising base, covering the seedling raising base with turf, and spraying water to keep wet, wherein rooting can be achieved after 25-35 days; (3) fertilizer and water management: from May to June, applying 10%-15% cake fertilizer liquid once every half month; from July to August, applying 10% cake fertilizer liquid and a small amount of calcium superphosphate or a small amount of compound fertilizer liquid once every 15-20 days; after September, applying less nitrogen fertilizer, and being capable of using coke mud ash and a small amount of calcium superphosphate; and keeping the land not dry or wet in a whole growth period; and (4) seedling selling: cultivating for two years according to the method, and then selling the seedlings.
