Array elements of the collinear antenna array are monopole antennas an open rectangular cavities, the polarization direction of each monopole antenna in the open rectangular cavity is consistent with the axis direction of the antenna array, and the collinear binary antenna array canserve as a unit antenna to form various antenna arrays, namely, composite antenna arrays. The novel monopole antenna comprises an open rectangular cavity and a monopole antenna, wherein the open rectangular cavity is composed of a section of a rectangular waveguide and a metal plate, and the monopole antenna is fixedly mounted in the rectangular waveguide cavity. The monopole antennas in the novelopen rectangular cavities are adopted to form a dense collinear antenna array, so that the antenna gain is remarkably improved under the condition of the same volume, and the problem that the antennadirectivity becomes poor due to mutual coupling of antenna units is avoided at the same time; and the collinear binary antenna array provides a high-gain antenna unit, a feed system of the compositeantenna array is simplified, and power loss caused by the feed system is reduced.
