Problems solved by technology

However, for the disconnection point, the subsequent connection problem is not considered, which may cause the branch to be not comprehensive enough
[0005] In addition to these methods, there are non-iterative methods to solve the separation problem, such as Wang et al. proposed a simple but effective algorithm, they used the intensity information of the image to evaluate the connection between the hepatic vein and the portal vein path to achieve the purpose of separation, but this method cannot deal with complex separation situations

Embodiment Construction

[0019] Such as figure 1 As shown, this method of hepatic vein and portal vein isolation based on local features includes the following steps:

[0020] (1) Obtain the center line of the blood vessel for the given liver vessel segmentation result, extract the connecting path between the portal vein and the hepatic vein, and analyze and obtain all intersections and bifurcation points;

[0021] (2) Use local features to calculate weights to obtain disconnection points to achieve the purpose of separation;

[0022] (3) The intersection point of the hepatic vein and portal vein is completed according to the direction of blood flow, and the segmentation results of the hepatic vein and portal vein are reconstructed based on the separated centerline, which is convenient for subsequent effect evaluation.

[0023] The present invention obtains the center line of the blood vessel from the given liver blood vessel segmentation result, extracts the connection path between the portal vein a...

Abstract

According to the hepatic vein portal vein separation method and device based on the local features, the stability of a separation algorithm can be improved, the influence of an incorrect segmentationresult is avoided, and the separation effect can be improved. The hepatic vein portal vein separation method based on the local features comprises the steps that (1) a blood vessel center line is obtained for a given liver blood vessel segmentation result, a communication path between portal veins and hepatic veins is extracted, and all intersection points and bifurcation points are obtained through analysis; (2) a weight is calculated by using local features to obtain a disconnection point, thereby achieving a separation purpose; and (3) branch completion is carried out on the intersection point of the hepatic vein and the portal vein according to the blood flow direction, and a hepatic vein and portal vein segmentation result is reconstructed based on the separated center line, so that subsequent effect evaluation is facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical image processing, in particular to a method for separating hepatic vein and portal vein based on local features, and a device for separating hepatic vein and portal vein based on local features. Background technique [0002] In recent years, CT angiography (CTA, CT Angiography) has been widely used for blood vessel visualization, but due to image noise and partial volume effect, there are contacting liver and portal vein vessels in CTA images and subsequent venous vessel segmentation results. However, for liver surgery, information on each individual venous system is required, so identification of individual portal and hepatic veins is critical for liver surgery planning. Moreover, any type of resection requires a sufficient portion of the liver to remain, and this part of the liver must also include all vascular systems, including the venous system, to supply the liver. Therefore, planning must ...
