The invention relates to a pretensioner assembly (10) for a seat belt pretensioner, comprising a pretensioning tube (12) and a micro gas generator (14), at least part of which is located in the pretensioning tube (12) and which has a holder (16), an ignition unit (18), and a propellant charge container (20) which is filled with a propellant charge (22), wherein: the pretensioning tube (12) has anabutment (30) against which the micro gas generator (14) rests; the pretensioning tube (12) has a portion (32) which is flanged radially inwards and via which the micro gas generator (14) is held in the pretensioning tube (12); and the micro gas generator (14) is waisted, the flanged portion (32) of the pretensioning tube (12) being located in the waisted portion of the micro gas generator (14).
