Abstract

The invention discloses a water heater. The water heater comprises an anode bar arranged in the water heater, the two ends of the anode bar are connected with a detection circuit used for detecting consumption of the anode bar, and a switch assembly is arranged in the detection circuit; and the water heater further comprises an actuating assembly and the actuating assembly is used for closing anddisconnecting the switch assembly according to flowing of fluid in the water heater. According to the water heater, the switch assembly is arranged on the detection circuit connected with the anode bar, meanwhile, the switch assembly is further connected with the actuating assembly, and the actuating assembly can close the switch assembly when the water flow is static by sensing whether the waterflow in the water heater flows or not, so that the detection circuit is connected. When the water flow flows, the switch assembly is switched off, the detection circuit is switched off, the actuatingassembly can switch off the switch assembly in the using process of the water heater, therefore the danger of water flow conduction is avoided, meanwhile normal detection of the anode bar is not affected in the non-using process of the water heater, and namely, the control of the detection circuit on the anode bar is realized by utilizing the state of the water flow.
