Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a video encoding and decoding method and device, computer equipment and a nonvolatile computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps of decoding the prediction information of a current block in a coding unit tree from an encoded bitstream, wherein the prediction information indicates at least one allowed block partition structure for the current block; determining a sub-block transform (SBT) mode of the current block based on the prediction information, the prediction information indicating that an SBT is used for the current block, wherein the partition of the current block in the SBT mode is different from the partition of the current block in the at least one allowed block partition structure; and reconstructing the current block based on the SBT mode.
