Abstract

The invention discloses a modified ultraviolet stabilizer, which is a modified composition functional master batch taking HALS as a matrix and grafted with a reactive functional group to form an active group. Specifically, the matrix part is used for carrying out light stabilization on waste plastic, and the active group is used for removing or fixing pungent smells diffused by macromolecules of the waste plastic. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the modified ultraviolet stabilizer. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: (1) dissolving the HALS matrix intoan alkaline compound according to a molar ratio of 1:1; (2) grafting an organic solvent containing an active group; and (3) carrying out vacuum filtration on the mixed solution, and performing recrystallizing. The invention also discloses application of the modified ultraviolet stabilizer in waste plastic treatment. According to the invention, on the one hand, a light stabilizing effect can be achieved, and on the other hand, the modified ultraviolet stabilizer can react with residual volatile small molecules which are difficult to remove in the waste plastic, so that the odor and VOC emission of the waste plastic are reduced.
