Abstract

The invention discloses a gaze tracking control method and system for a moving target by a video satellite, and aims to solve the problem of gaze tracking control of the video satellite on a target moving on the ground. Firstly, calculating four expected attitude elements of a satellite relative to an earth inertial coordinate system based on a double-vector method; secondly, further calculating an expected attitude angular velocity and an expected attitude angular acceleration of the satellite; then establishing an attitude kinematics and dynamics equation of the satellite; based on the error quaternion and the error attitude angular velocity, establishing a staring attitude tracking model of the video satellite for the moving target; and finally, designing a PD controller to control the attitude of the satellite. According to the method, good control convergence can be guaranteed when a static target, a low-speed moving target, a medium-speed moving target and a high-speed moving target are tracked, the response speed is high, the robustness is good, and technical reference and support can be provided for the design of a moving target staring tracking attitude controller by a video satellite.
