Abstract

The invention discloses a state and fault estimation method of a dead zone sandwich system. Aiming at the problem that intermediate variables of a dead-zone nonlinear and non-smooth sandwich system cannot be measured, the invention discloses a method for accurately and quickly estimating the state and fault of the system by switching a proportional-integral observer. The method comprises the steps: employing a key separation principle and a switching function to construct a non-smooth state space equation capable of accurately describing a dead zone sandwich system; according to the constructed non-smooth state space equation, constructing the SPIO capable of being switched along with the change of a system working interval; by analyzing the estimation error of the observer, providing the convergence condition of the observer, and providing a mathematical proof for the convergence theorem of the observer. The method has the advantages that the switching function is introduced into the observer, and compared with a traditional proportional-integral observer, the observer adopting the method can more accurately estimate the state and the fault of the system at the same time.
