Abstract

The invention discloses a system for increasing the sensing distance of a phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometer. The system comprises a light source module, a sensing light path module and a self-adaptive signal processing module. The light source module generates detection light and intrinsic light and transmits the detection light and the intrinsic light to the sensing light path module. Backscattering light, transmitted to a sensing optical fiber, of the detection light and the intrinsic light are coherent in the sensing light path module and then transmitted to the self-adaptive signal processing module. The self-adaptive signal processing module sequentially performs photoelectric conversion, preprocessing and sampling on the incoming coherent light and then sends the coherent light to the computer to obtain a detection result, and the preprocessing comprises sectional amplification, amplitude demodulation and self-adaptive filtering. The system can effectively solve the problem that sensing signals are submerged and difficult to measure due to the fact that the sensing distance is lengthened and the signals are weak, and has the advantages of being simple in structure and long in single-end sensing distance.
