Abstract

The invention relates to a handheld tool for ultrasonic detection of a large-plane workpiece. A probe can be automatically clamped through pressing force provided by springs mounted on the side surfaces of two probe clamping pieces. Three supporting feet make contact with the surface of a workpiece, the one-dimensional freedom degree perpendicular to the direction of the surface of the workpiece is provided through relaxation of a spring in a scanning mechanism, so that the probe can always press on the surface of the workpiece, and it is guaranteed that force is evenly applied. The probe can adapt to the planeness and flatness change of the surface of the workpiece by virtue of two rotational degrees of freedom in cooperation with the pressing force of the spring, and relatively good coupling is always achieved. By means of the handle of the device, a detector does not feel fatigue any more during detection. The position of the workpiece is not considered, and any reachable part can be detected. The reachability of workpiece edge detection is solved by utilizing the plane position relationship between the probe and a three-jaw supporting foot. The pressing force can be changed by adopting springs with different elastic coefficients, so that the handheld tool is suitable for detection of workpiece surfaces with different flatness.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of mechanical engineering, and in particular relates to a hand-held tooling for ultrasonic testing of large plane workpieces. Background technique [0002] Ultrasonic testing methods are widely used in internal defect detection of mechanical parts, raw materials, in-process, and in-use, among which the configuration of a single probe plus a host is the most widely used. The basic principle is that the probe is placed on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and the fluid medium such as oil, water, glycerin, etc. is used as a coupling agent to coat the surface of the workpiece, so that the probe and the surface of the inspected workpiece can be closely bonded without macroscopic gaps. Control the probe to emit ultrasonic waves, the ultrasonic waves enter the workpiece through the couplant layer, and are reflected back when encountering defects, enter the probe through the couplant layer, and transmit back to th...
