Embodiment Construction

[0016] Figure 1 shows a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) detection system, including an NMR detection tool 10 placed in a borehole 12, which is connected to a processing system 14 placed on the surface of the borehole by a cable, and the processing system is used for processing The signal traveling along the well body transmitted by the detection tool 10. Another possibility is to place the processing system 14 underneath. The tool 10 has a retractable arm 16. When the arm is activated, the tool face can be pressed against the borehole wall 18. An antenna 20 and a magnet 22 are provided in the tool 10. The antenna 20 generates an oscillating radio frequency magnetic field, and the magnet 22 generates a static magnetic field. Both the RF magnetic field and the static magnetic field tend to be located at the survey loudness 24 of the lateral stratigraphic part of borehole 12. During operation, the tool 10 uses an oscillating magnetic field pulse to magnetically adjust the nuclear sp...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring transverse strata drilling total nuclear magnetic resonance porosity, the porosity comprises free fluid and capillary binding porosity, further comprises clay binding porosity and micro porosity. An oscillating magnetic field is produced in a drilling, the oscillating magnetic field induces a strata loudness signal according to a common phase alternative order and is measured by a detection tool, thereby reducing echo separation, improving signal-to-noise ratio and recovering a short T2 component. A spin echo signal is measured, and each signal value is determined. The signal value comprises a first group and a second group, which respectively comprise early time echoed signals and residual echoed signals. The second group are further separated into a plurality of groupings, and multiple window total value is produced, and the strata properties are determined according to the window total value and each signal value of the first group.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention is related to generally determining the porosity of a borehole across the ground, and in particular, to measuring the total porosity of the ground. Background technique [0002] Nuclear magnetic resonance detection tools, such as Kenyon et al.'s US patents US-4,933,638 and K1einberg et al.'s US patents US-5,055,787 and US-50,055,788, can measure rock by measuring the amplitude rate and decay rate of the pulse echo sequence signal The number of hydrogen atoms in the small gap space and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxation rate. The nuclear magnetic exploration bay tool sends out an RF pulse into the formation, and then monitors the returning pulse, which is called a spin echo. The signal measured by the nuclear magnetic resonance detection tool, such as CMR, the Schlumberger tool mark (hybrid magnetic resonance), also known as the Schlumberger pulsed nuclear magnetic tool formerly known as PNMT, is proportional to the hydrogen nu...
