Abstract

The invention discloses a system for expanding accessible memory access of a processor and an interposer. The interposer is coupled to the processor and the memory module. The interposer is coupled to the first connection and the second connection. The interposer includes a memory controller circuit. The memory controller circuit uses the first connection to receive signals from the processor and uses the second connection to transmit the received signals to the memory module. The interposer does not require the second processor to expand memory access.
