Problems solved by technology

[0003] However, when a circular vibrating piece is used, there are problems in that the production efficiency is low, the sound conversion efficiency is low, and it is difficult to miniaturize the device
Therefore, there is a problem that the vibrating plate is strongly constrained by the container, and if, for example, thermal deformation of the container occurs, it will directly affect the vibrating plate
There is therefore a risk that the properties of the vibrating element will change or that the vibrating element will break

Embodiment Construction

[0025] figure 1 - 4B represents the surface-mountable piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0026] The electroacoustic transducer of the first preferred embodiment is suitable for devices used in a wide frequency range, such as a piezoelectric receiver, and includes a piezoelectric vibrating piece 1, a case 10, and a cover 20 having a laminated structure. The combination of the housing 10 and the cover plate 20 gives the housing of the piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer.

[0027] Such as Figure 5 and 6 As shown, the vibrating plate 1 is preferably formed by laminating two piezoelectric ceramic layers 1a and 1b. At the top and bottom surfaces of the vibrating piece 1, two main surface electrodes 2 and 3 are provided on the main surface thereof, and an internal electrode 4 is also provided between the ceramic layers 1a and 1b. Such as Figure 5 and 6 As indicated by the thick arrows in , the ...

Abstract

A piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer includes a piezoelectric diaphragm having a substantially rectangular shape which vibrates in the thickness direction when an alternating current is applied between electrodes of the piezoelectric diaphragm, a housing which stores the piezoelectric diaphragm, and a pair of terminals formed in the housing by insert molding. One end of each terminal is inserted inside the housing and includes a body portion fixed to the housing and wing portions which extend from both sides of the body portion toward the corners of the housing. The wing portions are not fixed to the housing, and stress-relieving portions are disposed between the body portion and the wing portions so that the wing portions are able to move toward the inside of the housing. Each electrode of the piezoelectric diaphragm is connected to at least one of the wing portions of the terminals by a conductive adhesive.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to piezoelectric electroacoustic transducers, such as piezoelectric receivers and piezoelectric buzzers. Background technique [0002] In electronic equipment, home appliances, portable phones, etc., conventional piezoelectric electroacoustic transducers are widely used as piezoelectric buzzers to obtain alarm sounds or operation sounds, or as piezoelectric receivers. The structure of this kind of piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer is usually made by the following steps: a circular piezoelectric element is bonded to a circular metal plate to define a unimorph type vibrating piece, and the metal plate is mounted on a circular metal plate. In a circular container, the outer periphery of the metal plate is supported by silicone rubber, and the opening of the container is closed with a cap. [0003] However, when a circular vibrating piece is used, there are problems in that the production efficiency is low, the sound c...
