Abstract

The train safety monitoring system consists of main train network and subnetworks in the railway carriages, the main train network consists of main network controller and main network, and each subnetwork consists of main subnetwork controller, carriage network and basic control units. There are gateways between each main subnetwork controller and main train network and the each gateway consists of monochip computer connected to main subnetwork controller and communication interface connected to main train network. The present invention performs connection data exchange among various intelligent units via stepped network connection. The main network controller can collect data from and send command to various carriage via the gateway and the carriages may be controlled indep9endently and via the main train network.
