Abstract

An alternate combustion type regenerative radiant tube burner apparatus capable of supplying pre-heated secondary combustion air to a main combustion chamber through opening parts in a circular plate disposed between a burner unit and the main combustion chamber, comprising the circular plate (10), an annular air throat part (2), a cylindrical outer peripheral cover (30), and heat exchanger tubes (11, 16). The front end part of the outer peripheral cover is formed integrally with the outer edge part of the annular plate to prevent the secondary combustion air in the air throat part from leaking to an air diluting chamber (3) through the outer periphery of the circular plate, whereby surely preventing the nitrogen oxide concentration of burned exhaust gas from being increased without being affected by the requirements for installation and thermal deformation of the radiant tube burner apparatus.
