The composition for external use comprises an aqueous phase and, dispersed therein, oily particles comprising a dextrin fatty acid ester and a liquid oily matter, the oily particles satisfying the following requirements 1) and 2). 1) The content of the dextrin fatty acid ester is 5-40 mass% based on the whole oily particles. 2) The average particle diameter of the oily particles is 0.05-10 mm.
